​​Zen Budo Karate teaches the Japanese art of self defense in an after school class format. Students learn punching and kicking skills, target and pad practice, self control and discipline and how to follow instructions alongside leadership skills. Students can advance in belt rank, learn memorized patterns, escapes from grabs, and the basics of martial arts.

Kids on Canvas 1st-5th

Grab a paintbrush and jump right in for a colorful Kids on Canvas adventure! Use acrylic paint to explore painting subjects such as the figure, landscape and still life - with a fresh Abrakadoodle twist! We use our imaginations and inspiration from a different artist each week to create with paint in a variety of ways!

Chess K-5th

Learn chess with Silver Knights Chess Academy (formerly Magnus Chess Academy), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy!  We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state and national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time.  This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time.  All chess supplies provided. Ultimate Dance Fitness K-5th

Kids in Motion students will dance, jump, run, and play the whole hour! Kids follow along with the teacher to songs and dances, play games that include limbo sticks, balloons, freeze dance, dancing 4 corners, dancing hot potato, follow the leader, and more! This is a dance fitness class using kid friendly songs, choreography, and dance games. This class helps children make friends, get active after school, and love dance fitness!

Minecraft Modding 3rd-5th

In this class, students will learn how to create their own custom gameplay items and elements using MCreator and Minecraft. Students will learn how to create artwork for various items, and implement them into the game with custom behaviors. Design your own custom blocks, weapons, food, biomes and more! Does your child spend hours at a time playing Minecraft? Have them learn how to improve their gameplay experience, and create your own custom mods to take home today!

Decorating Sweets K-5th

Decorating Sweets is a creative art with food class. We can't think of anything more fun than decorating sweets. We will provide an assortment of ideas and edible decorations to let both taste and imagination run wild! This is a great opportunity to learn how to decorate cupcakes, cake pops, cake bites, with fondant, gum paste and chocolate. Each session is completely different from the previous one so our students will have fun regardless of how many times they take this class.

Robotics to Applied Mechanics 3rd-5th

Robotics Applied to Mechanics is an exciting after-school program designed for children in grades 3 to 6. Our course focuses on nurturing creativity, fostering teamwork, building self-confidence, developing problem-solving skills, and teaching the value of learning from mistakes. Join us to unlock your child's full potential!

In our robotics course, students will have the exciting opportunity to design and build their own fun and engaging robots. Throughout the course, they will learn the fundamentals of robot construction with DC motors, gearboxes, solar panels, slide cranks, and even humanoid robots. This immersive class aims to unlock the students' full potential by fostering problem-solving skills and critical thinking. By the end of the course, students will not only have the knowledge to continue learning about robotics, but they will also be able to take their custom-built robots home to further explore and enjoy their creations.

Anime Manga Drawing for Kids K-5th

Get ready to laugh – Young Rembrandts Winter Cartoon classes will bring out your child’s inner artist while grinning from ear to ear and learning the fine technique of Anime Manga cartooning. Anime and manga are popular art styles derived from Japanese culture. "Anime" is the term used to describe Japanese animation. "Manga" is the term used to describe Japanese comic books. The students will create characters and scenes utilizing these dynamic and exciting art styles. As mentioned previously, we will focus on their detailed and colorful profiles, present the drawings, analyze the characters, and point out important features. Come draw with us!

Hungry Hungry Science K-5th

Need some science to sink your teeth into? In Hungry Hungry Science we will explore different scientific concepts using food as our main vehicle for experimentation. We will not only use ingredients to explain different ideas through simple recipes, but make edible experiments as well to learn about reactions, acids & basis, biology, nutrition and more! Kids call the shots as they create their play on the page and watch it go to the stage!  Students will be guided through an exploration of their favorite types of characters and how those familiar characters pop up in many stories.  Whether it's the hero(ine), magician, or thief, students will use their voices, bodies, and imaginations as they create unique characters and stories. 

Baroody Bakes K-5th

There's never a time to say no to fresh baked breads and pastries. Each day, children will get a chance to create a yummy treat from pies to loaves of bread, cupcakes and biscuits. There is SURE to be something they find irresistible.

Spring Workout K-5th

Athletes and fun seekers - come join us as we work hard and learn about staying in shape. During each class, we will warm up and transition to a workout, learning about different muscle groups and exercises to improve both strength and endurance. Along with agility and body weight exercises, we will spend time jumping rope and playing other PE games that incorporate fitness, such as Capture the Flag (a fan favorite). It should be a fun way to spend some energy and to learn how to establish healthy fitness habits!

Theatre: Superheroes & Villains K-2nd

ETC to the rescue! Come create stories about superheroes and villains with ETC. Using the superpowers of imagination and creativity, students will collaborate to workshop their evil supervillain laugh, their best superhero stance, and play different games to save the day. With superhero tales and teamwork, students will create their own superhero stories.

Run Club K-5th

Is your child ready to burn off some steam & have some fun? Join this co-ed running club where your child will have the chance to meet new friends, have a team building experience, move their bodies with fun running activities such as relays, speed, agility & quickness, & pacing all packed into an hour of movement, character building, and team fun. We will be building our cardiovascular system and muscles.

LEGO® SPIKE™ Essential Robotics: Quirky Creations K-5th

In this robotics program, children become game designers, creating their own carnival-style robotics games using Scratch coding and LEGO® SPIKE™ robotic kits. From battling the automated hockey goalkeeper with their partner, to programming a personalized pinball machine, each class is a new venture into the art of fun and games. As the teams build and code, they strengthen their understanding of sequences, cause and effect, and problem-solving, all while preparing their creations for the ultimate carnival showdown.
