Chess K-5th

Learn chess with Magnus Academy (formerly Silver Knights), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy!  We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state and national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time.  This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time.  All chess supplies provided. Spy Science: Crime Scene Investigators 1st-5th

How do detectives and investigators use science to solve a mystery? We will spend this program understanding forensic science and learning the tricks of the spy trade. We'll investigate fingerprints, spying techniques (surveillance), secret codes, invisible ink, and other sneaky science!

Glow Light Dance Party K-5th

Kids in Motion Glow Light Dance Party is an exciting one-of-a kind class that takes the great music and dance moves from our Zumba, Hip Hop, and other dance fitness classes, but we switch it up to include glow lights! This class will be set in a creative dance environment where the students will spend the class learning different choreographies to kid friendly songs. Children are provided with mini finger flashlights to create a glow dance party! In addition to a dance workout, they will also play games such as freeze dance, dancing 4 corners, limbo, center star, follow the leader, balloon games, limbo, and many more.

Winter Wonderland: Kids’ Global Gourmet Journey K-5th

Embark on a delicious adventure this winter with Sticky Fingers Cooking®! Our Winter Wonderland 'Cool'inary Club will take your young chefs on a global culinary journey, whipping up fun, tasty, and healthy recipes each week. Guided by experienced Chef Instructors, kids will explore exciting new flavors while learning about S.T.E.A.M., culture, language, and more—right in the kitchen!

Each class is interactive, engaging, and perfect for all ages. Plus, our plant-forward recipes are always nut-free, and we happily accommodate allergies. With new weekly dishes to create, kids will love exploring the world of cooking while developing lifelong skills!

Minecraft Animation 1st-2nd

Skill Level: Beg.

In this class, younger students will learn how characters move and look alive in movies and video games! They will be introduced to basic 2D and 3D animation techniques using Minecraft characters and stages. Kids will expand their perception, observation, and timing skills, as well as exercise their imagination and storytelling by studying motion in reality; then applying it to animation. Students will learn how animators work by completing a variety of short animation exercises and projects. They will apply acting theories and animation principles to scenes they create. Cartooning Art K-5th

Young Rembrandts™ Cartooning curriculum uses a structured stepwise format to teach students to create their own animated characters in humorous settings. We break down objects and ideas into simple shapes, then use exaggeration, caricature, and personification to playfully construct our own cartoon images. Our Cartooning curriculum develops academically relevant skills, including spatial-motor planning, mental discipline and fine motor skills, while providing a fun, enriching experience for our students. New lessons every week!

Cooking: Around the World K-5th

During this program, children will spend each day learning & creating cuisines from different countries & cultures. Throughout the course, children will collaborate while learning about the importance of safety & teamwork in the kitchen. They will master the different skills of cutting, like dicing, coring & slicing, and will also learn more about the customary units of volume, like teaspoons, tablespoons, cups, pints & gallons, all while baking delicious goodies!

Minecraft Survival K-5th

Get ready for an exciting adventure in survival! In Minecraft Survival, children will have the chance to put their skills to the test as they navigate the challenging world of Minecraft. With the help of their classmates, they'll learn how to gather resources, build shelters, and defend against creatures while developing important resource management skills. The classroom environment will be a place where children can collaborate, share ideas, and get excited about their experiences in the game. This is a fantastic opportunity for children to learn and grow while having fun in the process. Whether in the classroom or at home, Minecraft Survival is an adventure you don't want to miss!

Battle Robots 2nd-5th

Let’s duke it out, RoboThink-style! In this competitive camp, students will be building and customizing a variety of different battle robots, then competing in a wide range of different activities. By using gears, motors, axles and our own special hardware, your child will be in for the battle of a lifetime. 

No experience necessary, just come battle and have fun!

The Science Seed K-2nd

The Science Seed™ introduces children to the various disciplines of science, including geology, chemistry, biology, physics and nature. Classes are taught in fun, interactive and age appropriate ways to ensure that your child not only enjoys science, but builds a foundation for a love of science and learning that grows with them. Each class includes a note for the parents about what was taught and how you can continue the lesson at home. In addition, the concept of scientists as notetakers, journalists, writers and authors is introduced with their science journals that the students will bring home on the last day.
